Ardi Rashidi will lead a group presenting a program on the latest developments in the Middle East, particularly events affecting Kurdistan.

As events swirl around the Middle East, a lot has been happening pertaining to Kurdistan:

Included was an L A Times opinion article that a changed attitude in that area portends greater autonomy, even statehood for the Kurds.  There are recent reports of meetings with the leader of the Kurd imprisoned in Turkey. Most of us are also aware of the killing of Kurdish representatives in Paris.

Ardi has been in demand as a speaker and he and his co-speakers will give the latest information.

They will present the way forward to resolving the Kurdish problem peacefully and with an appeal to preventing further wars in the region in order to reshape a Democratic future for the peoples of the Middle East.

Ardi, a member of our Directors, was president of the Pomona Valley Chapter UNA, Southern California Division UNA and heavily involved in the recent merger of UNA-USA with the Better World Foundation.
